About Us With offices in Boston and New York City and affiliates in Washington, DC, Slowey/McManus Communications provides strategic public relations, communications, and public affairs services for corporate and non-profit organizations. The firm was founded in 2006 by Dominic Slowey, who has more than two decades of experience in public relations, government and journalism, and James McManus, an attorney and former journalist with 15 years of communication consulting experience. In 2007 Jeff Roberts, a veteran public relations executive and consultant who has counseled dozens of Fortune 500 companies and other organizations, joined the firm as Managing Partner of its New York office. They are assisted by a talented group of account managers and supervisors and senior consultants with diverse backgrounds and experiences in virtually all aspects of communications. The firm's clients include nonprofit organizations, the world's largest retail chain, a leading business law firm, a major state university, and a global provider of technical services to environmental and transportation companies, among others.
