WATERTOWN — The Tufts Health Plan has recognized Gosnold on Cape Cod for its Young Adult Opiate Program.
After observing that many young adults were relapsing despite successful completion of detoxification programs and high levels of family support, Gosnold created a more comprehensive and personalized approach to recovery that includes individual coaching, medication-assisted treatment, technology-assisted interventions, counseling services and more, according to a statement from Tufts.
The Young Adult Opiate Program has resulted in longer periods of remission and increased employment among participants, the statement notes.
Founded in 1979, Tufts Health Plan serves members in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
