On Thursday, May 24, as part of EMS Week, American Medical Response held an event to celebrate the donation of an ambulance to the Safe America Foundation. The ambulance will support Safe America’s efforts to help rescue victims of human trafficking. It will also be utilized to support the organization’s work with opioid addicts and PTSD-suffering veterans. The donation is part of AMR’s observance of “National Emergency Medical Services Week” with events being held nationwide.
