RONALD ROSENBERGRonald Rosenberg is a former business reporter for The Boston Globe, where he covered the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries after launching the regional newspaper's high technology coverage. Over the last six years, Ron has worked in corporate communications and public relations for such companies as Pfizer Inc. and Millipore Corp, and for some of the leading Boston-area public relations agencies. During his 21-year career at the Globe, Ron spent an academic year at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Knight Science Journalism Fellowship program where he learned about the emerging life sciences industry. Ron began his journalism career at the Middletown (NY) Times-Herald Record as an environmental reporter and feature writer before coming to Boston for Electronic News, a weekly trade publication, to cover the fledgling Rte. 128 computer and electronics industry. Ron has also written bylined articles for such publications as The Scientist, Inc. magazine and Genetic Engineering News and developed op-ed columns and newsletter articles for a variety of public relations clients. He is a graduate of Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY with BA in English and completed coursework toward a MA degree from the City University of New York. |
